Now that the filmmakers have found their male and female leads for Ghost Houses upcoming The Evil Dead remake. It's time for sites to begin hitting up the films two stars, Shiloh Fernandez, and Jane Levy for all the juicy bits (or atleast the ones they're contractually allowed to give out thus far), in regards to the forthcoming redo! Recently, it was actress Jane Levy's turn. As TheInsider questioned her recently on the redo. Which Levy claims won't be anything to laugh at. "I think the humor in the first one came from the special effects of the time. I don't know that they meant it to be funny... this one is not funny." She says. Adding.."It's definitely dark. This one is really different. They've changed it a lot, but it's still a pretty gory movie." Federico Alvarez is directing the movie which starts shooting next month for an April 12th 2013 release. Personally, I was not a fan of the casting of Fernandez into the male lead. But as long as the film brings its A-Game, in terms of entertainment value and staying atleast somewhat true to the original, I'll be satisfied. |
